Privacy Policy
Last updated 11 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data Yevonn collects through yevonn.com, why, and what you can do about it. In this policy, “Yevonn”, “we” and “us” mean the company that runs this website. You can reach us at hello@yevonn.com.
What we collect
- Waitlist. Your email address, your name if you give it, the product you chose, and the time you agreed to be contacted.
- Contact form. Your name, email address and message.
- Security data. To slow down abuse we use a one-way, salted hash of your IP address as a temporary counter. It is deleted automatically within a day, and we cannot turn it back into your IP address. Our hosting provider also keeps standard technical logs.
We do not use advertising cookies or analytics tools on this website. The site itself sets no cookies. If we later turn on a bot check such as Cloudflare Turnstile, that service may set its own cookies, and we will update this policy.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To email you about products you asked to hear about: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time.
- To reply to your message: our legitimate interest in answering people who write to us, and your request.
- To keep the site secure and stop abuse: our legitimate interest in protecting the service.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data, and we do not share your email address for advertising. We use service providers to run the site: Cloudflare hosts the website and stores the data we collect, and, if we turn it on, an email service delivers notifications to our team. These providers process data only on our instructions.
Transfers outside Nigeria
Our providers operate global networks, so your data may be processed outside Nigeria. We choose providers that protect personal data and we rely on the safeguards the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 allows for such transfers.
How long we keep it
- Waitlist details: until you withdraw consent, or 24 months after we last contacted you, whichever comes first.
- Contact messages: up to 24 months, or sooner if you ask us to delete them.
- Abuse counters: deleted automatically within a day.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, and withdraw your consent. Write to hello@yevonn.com from the email address you used, and tell us what you want. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Children
This website is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new date.
